I've managed to convince 1 person of the nutritional benefits of Gelato over store bought Ice-Cream. Although, it would sound really significant if I were to put it into a resume I doubt people would care -_-.
Anyway, it's another fun filled weekend with nothing much going on. I wish I had used this time to shop instead of dallying around in the house all day. But I did do a bit of cooking
I just whipped up a $10 bowl of lasagna, putting everything I had in my fridge (Almost everything). There is such a huge difference in taste between using ground beef, and Italian sausage when making lasagna. To all those spinach haters, I do not really understand why you would not put spinach in lasagna. Where will it get all it's greens from besides being stupidly meaty and cheesy?
I also did not want to waste heat, so I baked brownie loafs as well. If you look at the crack, does it not remind you of sweet potato? I wonder what would happen if you mixed in a legume like that into the cake. Certainly it would be a lot starchier than if I left it alone, but would it not be a good combo? Sweet Potato with Chocolate. I did add cinnamon this time, but I should try it if I happen to have these those ingredients in my pantry
Edit:
Holy Cow, I kept eating and eating and eating and I never felt full at all. I only feel satisfied like 3 hours after I finished eating my meal. Something is wrong with my stomach?
